Vienna Creatives Treasure Hunt - PART II

1. Background Information: 

Vienna, a city renowned for its rich history, architectural wonders, and thriving creative scene as well as cultural richness and artistic heritage. The city is home to a diverse community of diaspora creatives and creators who contribute to its vibrant creative scene with artistic treasures waiting to be explored. This creative and unique treasure hunt aims to celebrate the artistic expressions of Vienna's diaspora community while exploring the city's hidden gems, street art, art galleries, and cultural landmarks. By combining elements of adventure, problem-solving, and creativity, this treasure hunt provides an immersive experience that highlights the artistic contributions of Vienna's diaspora creatives and engage with Vienna's artistic landscape in a fun and interactive way.

 2. Format and Structure: 

• Participants will form teams of maximum 2-4 people and receive a set of clues and challenges that will be sent digitally.
• The treasure hunt will guide teams through Vienna's artistic locations, including street art sites, art galleries, including the ones that feature works by diaspora creatives, and cultural landmarks.
• Teams will navigate through Vienna, following the provided clues to uncover specific artworks, street art murals, or cultural landmarks.
• Clues will reveal information about specific artworks, artists, or cultural references, highlighting the diaspora influence and creative expressions.
• At each location, teams will engage in creative challenges or tasks that celebrate the artistic diversity of Vienna's diaspora community, such as taking photos, reinterpreting artworks, or creating small artistic expressions.
• The treasure hunt will culminate in a final challenge or puzzle that encourages teams to reflect on the experiences and stories shared by Vienna's diaspora creatives.

 3. The hunt: 

- Eligible for everyone, including FAMILIES.

- Date and Time: July 19th, 2023 | from 10:00.

- Meeting Point: Agreed among the teams.

- Duration: The hunt is at participants own pace. The challenges and clues will be sent out from 10:00 and the final answers should be received before 16h00. (Results received after 16h00 will not count).

- Materials: Each team will be provided with the challenges and clues by email/WhatsApp/broadcast channel (to be specified before the date).

 4. How to win: 

Teams with the who complete max 6 challenges the fastest and has collects the most points wins the game. The below aspects are part of the evaluation:

How fast did teams complete all the challenges within the define timeframe?

The team that completes the treasure hunt in the shortest amount of time is eligible to win.

Tips: Strategize and move efficiently through the challenges and clue locations.

Points!

How many points did you accumulate? PS: Challenges must be fully completed before points are assigned.

Each challenges are assigned points, based on difficulty level or complexity. Teams accumulate points as they successfully complete challenges or solve clues. The team with the highest total points at the end of the treasure hunt is eligible to win.

Tips: Focus on specific challenges based on teams' strengths or interests.

Teams are evaluated based on their performance during specific challenges or tasks. For example, for photography challenges, winners are assessed based on the creativity, composition, and execution of their photographs. The same are for written challenges.
